The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), which represents more than 30,000 members in 197 chapters throughout the world, advances philanthropy through advocacy, research, education and certification programs. The New Jersey Chapter of AFP, one of the largest chapters, is an individual member association that advances philanthropy through education, training and advocacy across the state. Mission Statement:

The Chapter is an Association of fundraising professionals formed for the purpose of:

A.  Establishing and adhering to a Code of Ethics which outlines the principles of conduct expected of them in  
     pursuit of their fundraising responsibilities;

B. Enhancing the knowledge and skills of fundraising professionals through continuing education and association;

C. Providing support and advancement opportunities to its members;

D. Promoting advancement, growth and high standards of philanthropy within the state of New Jersey.
