Youth in Philanthropy

The Youth in Philanthropy Program for grades K-8 is an educational program of the Association of Fundraising Professionals New Jersey Chapter that relates to the New Jersey Core Curriculum standards and promotes civic engagement.

Since 1994, the New Jersey Chapter's nationally acclaimed state-wide Youth in Philanthropy (YIP) Program has introduced the concept, history and practice of philanthropy to over 20,000 students and their educators. Thousands of New Jersey residents, at hundreds of non-profit organizations, have benefited as a result of the student's volunteer and fund raising projects completed as part of the program.

Those interested in making a commitment to serve on the Youth in Philanthropy committee, or assisting with one of its initiatives, are asked to contact: AFP-NJ Board Member, Tonya S. Hall at: 732-937-8358 or tonya.hall@rwjuh.edu.
