AFP NJ Members Only Area of the Website
Resources available only to current AFP NJ members can be found on secure pages of our website. When you visit one of our private members’ resources you will be asked for a username and a password. If you are a current AFP NJ member, the username and password should have already been provided to you. If you have not received it or have forgotten it, contact the association manager.
Each month we host educational programs which cover topics of interest to fundraisers of every level and allow time for networking with colleagues in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

AFP members receive discounted rates for educational programs presented at our luncheons, workshops, seminars and annual Conference on Philanthropy. Some programs are exclusively for chapter members.

New Member Orientation
Several times throughout the year these sessions are held in conjunction with a monthly luncheon. Attending one will give new and prospective members more in-depth information on our chapter’s programs and AFP. We also invite our members to become more involved in the chapter by serving on a committee, if they so desire.
Mentoring is provided to anyone wishing to discuss concerns relating to professional issues, career development or the chapter.

Each month, a “members-only” e-blast is sent with a listing of job postings.
Members interested in sitting for the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) exam can prepare by attending a review course through our chapter.
A legislative committee was formed to monitor and report on matters of interest to members of our profession.
The speaker’s bureau provides trained, certified fund raising professionals to present programs to community groups on issues related to philanthropy.
