This position plays a key role in the affiliate’s success by writing grants, applying fund-raising best practices, creating compelling public relations and donor communications, cultivating and stewarding individual donors and representing the organization in the community.
The successful candidate will be a tech-savvy, creative self-starter and team player with strong , proven interpersonal communication, writing and networking skills; a track record of successful fundraising; and the ability to multitask and work well with volunteers. S/he will be able to powerfully and passionately communicate the Habitat mission and outcomes, verbally and in writing, and effectively represent the organization at events/venues across the community.
