Sixth Annual AFP NJ/NY Summit on Philanthropy

The New Jersey and New York City Chapters of the Association of Fundraising Professionals are pleased to present the Sixth Annual AFP NJ/NY Summit on Philanthropy. . .

The Annual AFP NJ/NY Summit on Philanthropy, on Monday, September 15 is a unique opportunity for not-for-profit and development leaders to gather and examine today’s trends that will drive Philanthropy’s Future in our area. Much has changed in the post-recession environment.

Our presenters and panelists will discuss how today’s new philanthropists, social entrepreneurs and corporate social responsibility agendas all bring new energy and commitment to the not-for-profit enterprises they support. A donor’s new way of looking at the organizations they support will potentially change how they are approached, cultivated and stewarded.

This Summit’s discussions and presentations will help prepare you to face the future, more aware of the shifts in donors’ perceptions and outlooks, the area’s change in donor age and ethnicity demographics, and how corporate and private Foundations are identifying the causes and the charities they will support.

Come network with your colleagues, volunteer leaders and a prominent group of experts and philanthropists. The Summit is recommended for fundraisers with at least five years of experience and all levels of volunteer leaders.
